Paper Submission    Important Dates

Submission guidelines

Submitted papers must be unpublished and must not be currently under review for any other publication. All papers will be peer-reviewed by a multidisciplinary program committee of technical experts. Submissions are limited to 6 pages in length, with a 10pt font and 1 inch margins, including all references and figures. Submissions will be handled by the EDAS system.

Paper Formatting Instructions

  • Your submission must be in PDF. We do not handle other formats such as Microsoft Word. Whatever text processor or formatter you use to write your paper (LaTeX, Microsoft Word, FrameMaker, etc.), please convert the output to PDF before submission.

  • Your submission must be correctly formatted to fit on U.S. "Letter" size paper, which is 8.5 inches wide by 11 inches tall. Please be sure you have 1 inch margins on all edges (top, bottom, left, and right) of each page.

  • Paper submissions for regular papers must be limited to 6 pages and must follow a double column format. The page limit includes everything including references, appendices, etc.

  • The font size must be 10 points (smaller font is allowed for references, figure captions and footnotes)

Paper submission via EDAS

  • If you do not already have an EDAS account, please create one.

  • Log in and select MICNET 2009 from the list of available conferences.

  • Register the abstract by providing the paper title and the abstract (up to 300 words) and all author details. Please ensure all names, addresses and email details are correctly entered.

  • To submit a full paper upload the paper through EDAS either at the moment of the registration or later through your EDAS MICNET 2009 webpage

Revising your paper

  • You can revise your submission at any time before the submission deadline.

  • To revise the submitted paper, login to EDAS, go to your MICNET 2009 EDAS homepage and upload a new PDF version the same way you did already for the previous version

NOTE: To revise your paper, please use the above procedure to upload the new revised version of your existing registered paper. Please do not register and submit the new version as if it were a separate new paper, since this will duplicate the paper registration records.
